Rocky Road Bark

Serves: 1 pound

12 oz. semi-sweet or dark chocolate pieces
1 cup almonds, coarsely chopped
1+ cup miniature marshmallows

Dear Girl’s additions and change-ups: I accidentally used unsweetened chocolate pieces, so it turned out incredibly bitter; however, to compensate for it, I melted milk chocolate and drizzled a a layer over the marshmallows and original bark. After it sat in the freezer for a while, I tried a piece and realized it was still too bitter, so I decided to roll the cut pieces into powdered sugar and it was the perfect balance! I would recommend that this get eaten sooner than later if you choose to utilize the powdered sugar method.
Line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Melt chocolate pieces according to package directions.
Stir in almonds and marshmallows.
Spread the mixture on to the cookie sheet.
Freeze for 30 minutes to quickly set or place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Break into pieces.
